I started cleaning my Gramma\u2019s cupboards when I was five years old for a stick of juicy fruit gum. I worked my way up to a milk jug and then allowance for cleaning my relatives\u2019 homes. During the pandemic, we are considered essential services because we clean government offices, seniors\u2019 homes, and clients with special needs.<\/p>\n
When we go into a home, we wear a mask and gloves and always sanitize our equipment and bring in fresh cloths and mops. At the start of our day, we have a temperature gun and no one at Maid-Mart is allowed to come to work feeling sick \u2013 this is the only reason why your cleaning could be cancelled. So far, we\u2019ve been really safe and had no incidents.<\/p>\n
