Since 1990, Canadians have participated in Parkinson SuperWalk, with this year’s event being held in September.
The annual event raises funds to support Canadians living with Parkinson’s, their families and care providers.
The Parkinson SuperWalk is the largest nationwide fundraising event for Parkinson Canada.
This year’s event will take place Sept. 9 and 10. in communities across the country. Approximately 10,000 people from coast-to-coast organize and take part in Parkinson SuperWalk.
In 2016, the event raised $2.15 million across Canada. Over the past 27 years, more than $35 million has been raised for support services, research, advocacy and education.
