This smoothie is filled with potassium-rich kiwifruit, banana and orange juice for a delicious snack that has numerous benefits for your body. But if you’re running out the door and don’t have time to use a blender, grab a kiwifruit to go for a quick and easy potassium dose.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup fortified vanilla soymilk
- 1 cup calcium-fortified orange juice
- 2 Zespri SunGold kiwifruit, washed, unpeeled and chopped
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 2 tbsp soy protein powder
- 1 tsp honey
DIRECTIONS:
- Blend all ingredients in blender on high for 20 to 30 seconds or until smooth. Serve immediately.
Tip: If you prefer, two peeled Zespri Green kiwifruit can be substituted in this recipe.
